swipala was established to assist small producers in developing countries in exporting their goods and to represent them on the international market.

The company was founded during the time the swipala team worked as aid workers with farmers in Bolivia. Our aim is to guarantee the continual purchase of farmers' produce and we strive to create a direct export from the producer to the consumer. 

For cost reasons, swipala waives the fair trade certification. However, the fair trade prices serve as guidelines. Furthermore, we organize distribution, provide administration and produce documentation about the families who grow the produce.

swipala guarantees the buyer a first class service with the flexibility of a small company. In conjunction with our branch situated in Bolivia, we can assure a tight control of both delivery and production. 

Only biological products are cultivated and harvested by swipala producers.
